«-- Letter Re: Advice for Preparedness Newbie | Main | Jim's Quote of the Day: --»
Note from JWR:
A gent recently e-mailed me to ask "How
can I help support SurvivalBlog?" Here are eight things that you can do
that will help us stay afloat:
1.) Whenever you contact any of our advertisers, please
mention that you saw their ad on SurvivalBlog, and encourage them to continue
advertising
here.
2.) Get a voluntary 10
Cent Challenge subscription, and renew it annually.
(99% of readers don't subscribe. You'll be one of the few that do.) And if
you are a Secret Squirrel, just mail
me a $5 bill, with no return address, or a fake return address.
3.) If you buy merchandise from any of our Affiliate advertisers, be
sure to use the link from our Affiliate
Advertisers page (rather than a browser bookmark) when
you place your order. Otherwise we won't earn a commission on the sale.
4.) Consider buying copies of my non-fiction books: SurvivalBlog:
The Best of the Blog - Volume 1 and Rawles
on Retreats and Relocation, or copies of my survivalist novel: "Patriots:
Surviving the Coming Collapse".
5.) Consider buying a
SurvivalBlog logo hat, T-shirt, bumper sticker, mug, mouse pad, or tote bag
(from Cafe Press),
or buy something from my Mail
Order Catalog.
6.) Spread the word about Survivalblog, by adding
a text link or banner to your web site, blog, and/or e-mail footer.
7.) Get a copy of the "Rawles
Gets You Ready" preparedness course
8.) Whenever you do business with a survival or preparedness-related business
that is not yet a SurvivalBlog advertiser, please encourage the to become
one.
You can tell them that SurvivalBlog advertising is very inexpensive and
has consistently proven to be highly productive.
