Our first post today is from David in Israel, one of SurvivalBlog's volunteer
international correspondents. He is an American ex-pat with a diverse background
in forestry, firefighting, emergency
medicine,
and
commercial
kosher food inspection. One of his life-long hobbies has been amateur radio.
David is now
a Torah scholar, living in Israel with his wife and family.
