Warning: Attempting this with a firearm would be an invitation to a lawsuit. This would also almost certainly be considered a "machinegun" by the BATFE (even if it fires semi-automatically), since it would fire more than one cartridge with the touch of the laptop keyboard--which they would deem to be the "trigger".
