SurvivalBlog Editorial Staff Contact Information

Jim prefers contact via e-mail to: james--AT SYMBOL--rawles.to (Change --AT SYMBOL-- to @)

Because of the large volume of e-mail that we receive, we cannot respond to every piece of e-mail. Our apologies if you don't get a response or if there is a lengthy delay in our response. We only post selected letters that we think would be of interest to most SurvivalBlog readers.

Note: Because we live way out in the hinterboonies, we have a slow dial-up connection. So please refrain from sending us any large e-mail attachments (Photo attachments are the main culprit.) OBTW tinypic.com is a great way to send links to photos without hosting them on your own server.

We keep the location of the Rawles Ranch private. All that I can say is that it is“Somewhere in The American Redoubt.” Nor can I mention the names of our children. The Vonage phone line that we use has a prefix in another state. I'm sure that you can understand the security concerns that go along with our survival preparations.

Our mail forwarding address (for mailing your contributions and hard copy letters and small padded envelopes only) is:

James Wesley, Rawles
c/o P.O. Box 177
Newcastle, Wyoming 82701

NOTE: DO NOT send any review books or other packages to that address! (If you must send a package, please e-mail me first, for details.)

Book publishers and self-published authors: See this page for a list of Book Review Editor addresses.

Physical products for test and evaluation reviews should be sent to:

Pat Cascio
Field Gear Editor
P.O. Box 342
Sweet Home, OR 97386

Consulting Contact Information:

Note: I provide my Vonage phone number only to pre-paid consulting clients. Before hiring me for consulting, please first search the SurvivalBlog archives and FAQs. I also strongly recommend that you read my book "How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It". That book answers a lot of questions that I typically get from consulting clients. (And buying a $12 book beats paying for consulting.)

If you need my expertise about something that I haven't previously published, my fee is $100 per hour, with a one hour minimum. You can send pre-payment via Bitcoin, or to my Payza or PayPal account. I prefer Payza because they don't share PayPal's anti-gun political agenda.)

My Bitcoin account is: 1K7Gk6kqX6psSWDJaRV6pyDH7dwZuvqtUB
My Payza address is: rawles@usa.net
My
PayPal address is: james@rawles.to

Be sure to include your e-mail address, phone number, and and the best time to schedule the call in your online payment instructions.

You can also send pre-payment for hours of consulting (in 30 minute increments) via U.S. Postal Service Money Orders, "Forever " (Liberty Bell) postage stamps, or personal check to the address noted above.

For the past 10 years, I have consulted on a variety of survival-related topics including relocation, logistics, communications, firearms, privacy, communications security, food storage, caching, vehicles, field gear, signals intelligence, retreat architecture, and retreat security. Many of my clients are wealthy, and they appreciate what I can accomplish for them, with my network of subject matter experts. (We can help you locate, design, build, and fully stock a self-sufficient retreat.) And as a former intelligence officer, they appreciate my discretion.

On the advice of my attorney, I never have and WILL NOT EVER discuss any potentially criminal activities such as bomb making, poaching, poisons/toxins, fully automatic firearms conversions, active insurrection, or firearms suppressor ("silencer") construction. If you raise any such topics then I will immediately terminate the consulting call--no exceptions.

Sorry, No Social Networking Presence

Please refrain from trying to get me to join Twitter, LinkedIn, or any of the other social networks. I get more than 150 e-mails per day, and that is bad enough, but getting an extra 20 proclaiming that "John Smith is following you on Twitter" and "I'd like to add you to my professional network on LinkedIn" are distracting. I consider these networks a security risk, so I don't respond to any of these requests. Thanks!
